Hi Reader, As promised, even though I'm travelling much these days I'm still here to help you to see the world - especially if you're a (solo) female traveller. But before I start I just want to say thank you to everyone who replied to my last email about why I'm quitting travel, I really appreciate it. I know it's the right decision for me at the moment, and I'm looking forward to a future in one place (for now at least!) And back to you! March is Women's History Month and next weekend, Saturday 8th March is International Women's Day, so what better time to give a little extra support to my fellow fabulous women! I'm passionate about supporting women who want to travel alone, and while I have lots of advice on my own website for you, I also want to share other resources that I think are really useful.
Wanderful Travel CommunityYou may have heard me mention Wanderful before, a global travel community of women who are passionate about travel. I've been a member of Wanderful's travel community since 2019 and I love connecting with other female travellers all around the world. Whether you're at home or on the road, you can tap into the knowledge and network of thousands of women travelers who can help you plan your next adventure, meet up in person, and inspire you to be and do better. They have online events, trainings, social chats and in-person meetups too, so if you love travel, it's a great opportunity to connect with like-minded women around the world. Check out some of the benefits of Wanderful membership, like:
PLUS During the month of March, when you purchase any Wanderful membership, you get a free copy of the solo travel guide and manifesto Wander Woman by Wanderful founder, Beth Santos! There is a membership fee to join Wanderful, and special membership options for travel content creators and entrepreneurs who run or want to develop their own travel business. Yearly membership starts from $129 USD for the year, and you can also try it out for a week for free to see if you like it!
PLUS Wanderful members also get FREE TICKETS to the Travel & Adventure Show that is taking place in Denver on March 8-9, The Bay Area on March 15-16, in Dallas on March 22-23 and in Washington DC on March 29-30 (so time it right and you could use your 1 week free trial to get free tickets to the show as an added bonus!) It seems that with every year that passes I become more aware of how important my friendships are, and how powerful women can be - especially when we get together! I'll be joining the Women's March in Barcelona on Saturday for the first time and I'm looking forward to being around so many fabulous women. I hope you decide to join Wanderful, do let me know if you sign up! Happy travels! Hi Reader! Well, April flew by so quickly I honestly don't know where the time goes. And here we are almost a week into May already! I've been busy sorting my life out here in Barcelona, now I am a full-time resident here, from registering as a sole trader to sorting out a library card - and discovering the joys of the Spanish tax system. It is quite nice not to have to worry about planning travel, but I've got more than enough on my plate to stay busy here! Thinking about plates, one of my...
